Once
the artist has drawn the design, wax is applied to
each and every line. It can take a week or more before
the sarong is ready to be painted. Once the painting
is complete, only sun drying makes the colors as
strong and vibrant as these are. So we are always
praying for sunny days. During the rainy season,
November-March, production is hit and miss at best so
we manufacture primarily May-September. |
